As a Senior Drupal Developer, Ben is at the heart of what makes ImageX a super-powered Drupal shop. He churns out code and molds raw Drupal installations into fantastic opportunities for our clients to connect with their audiences.

Ben started programming with BASIC games in a kids’ magazine and started building websites at age 10 with his first HTML book. He lived in Israel through middle and high school, then moved to Boston for college, where he majored in philosophy and political science and worked as a web developer (building custom ASP apps). In fall 2006, he took a semester off to ride solo across the US on his motorcycle for twelve weeks.

After college, Ben entered the world of open-source development and hasn’t looked back. He spent a year with a Drupal consulting shop in Boston, then worked at a global publishing firm, supporting their Drupal sites.

As General Manger and VP of Operations, Chris’s job is to keep ImageX Media running like a well-oiled machine – which means happy clients and happy employees. He wears many hats, including overseeing sales and operations, strategic planning, and architecting innovative solutions for clients.

Daniel Washbrook is a Drupal web developer by day and a regular human, usually asleep, by night. He’s been a pocket-protector-wearing computer geek since before it was cool. Drupal took over his life about 5 years ago, and no amount of therapy will ever make it right again.

Daniel’s career began after high school, when he started towards a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing. He left his friends and family and moved to France to specialize in cultural issues pertaining to the European Union and marketing across borders. However, his love for computers and skill as a developer brought him back to Canada. He misses the fine French food, but not the cold winter rain.

Back in Canada (Kelowna, to be exact), he started working as a freelance web developer, fine-tuning his skills in Unix and Windows-based development. Being overworked quickly helped him also develop skills in Project Management.

Jenny Hols does for us what we do for our clients – she creates success. She’s out there hitting the pavement and spreading the good news of how ImageX Media can take your business or organization to the next level through unparalleled web services. Jenny does what the rest of us regard with fear and trepidation – things like talking to people face-to-face and using more than 140 characters to express an idea – and does so with enthusiasm and panache.

Skye Zabil is our best friend. She’s in charge of keeping us happy – or at least keeping us paid. Not only does she ensure we can afford our grande triple shot americanos, she also takes care of ImageX’s accounts – something the rest of us find either completely unintelligible or incredibly boring.

Vanessa is our brilliant Solution Architect, Client Service Manager and unofficial office house mother. As Solution Architect, she guides our clients and their projects through every step of the web design and development experience – from business case, to information architecture of the site, to the post-launch training and support. As Client Service Manager, she tries to make this process as client-friendly as possible! And as office house mother – well, that mostly involves organizing the office recycling and bringing in brownies when the Canucks lose.

Vanessa’s background is as varied as her skill set. Before ImageX, she was an art director, photo editor, web consultant and designer – and flew the friendly skies as a flight attendant, which explains her uncanny aptitude for customer service. Vanessa is also an active cancer advocate and spokesperson and has organized national conferences for young women with breast cancer.
