Phillip Lamb

Senior Drupal Developer

Phillip Lamb is a man of many talents – gourmet chef, amateur physicist, award-winning photographer, and, of course, spectacular Drupal developer. Based out of Chicago, Phillip churns out code for ImageX Media, molding raw Drupal installations into fantastic opportunities for our clients to connect with their audiences.

Phillip has lived all over the USA and was most recently a senior software architect in New York City. A bit of a futurist, Phillip loves to figure out how to use new technology to do things that have never been done before – especially if it helps a client solve a problem or meet their goals.

Phillip on Drupal: I love the Drupal community. With the various organizations and meetups that have been built around the platform, you’ve always got something to do, or someone to help. The learning curve on Drupal can be somewhat steep, so I get a lot of gratification from helping people up the slope.

In his spare time: I’m trying to build what’s called a Polywell, which is basically a Farnsworth-Hirsch style fusor, but instead of confining ions with charged metallic grids, it uses a cube-shaped assembly of magnets, reducing the potential for damage to the assembly through impacts and eventual vaporization. Yes, I am completely serious. I also like to cook! My favourite meal is my pan-seared scallops, flambéed in a bit of Jameson, served with some cracked sea salt and black pepper.
