Our last blog post explained what duplicate content is and how it can affect your site’s search engine indexing and ranking.

In a nutshell, when multiple copies of a block of content or even an entire page live on more than one URL, search engines will attempt to pick the “best” version and filter out the copies when returning search results, and sometimes even drop duplicate pages from their indexes all together.

ImageX Launches New International Research Site

The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) is an international think tank whose main purpose is to address international governance challenges through world-class research. CIGI’s business is ideas, and their new website needed to play a central role in disseminating their research and ideas and promoting their expertise. Their goal with this site was to build a global audience online and to better showcase its content and experts.

To achieve this goal, ImageX Media built a site that is complex in development but easy to access and navigate. Not only does the site have common features such as a newsletter system, events calendar, photo gallery, blog, and social bookmarking, we also developed a number of custom features to meet the demands of an information-hungry audience.
