ImageX Launches New International Research Site

The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) is an international think tank whose main purpose is to address international governance challenges through world-class research. CIGI’s business is ideas, and their new website needed to play a central role in disseminating their research and ideas and promoting their expertise. Their goal with this site was to build a global audience online and to better showcase its content and experts.

To achieve this goal, ImageX Media built a site that is complex in development but easy to access and navigate. Not only does the site have common features such as a newsletter system, events calendar, photo gallery, blog, and social bookmarking, we also developed a number of custom features to meet the demands of an information-hungry audience. These components include several libraries and a publication archive, all with advanced search system customization; an article publishing system with scheduled content publishing; highlighted content blocks; and an experts and staff directory. With all these features, the cigionline.org site can handle hundreds of thousands of pages of content with ease and dexterity, making the user experience an enjoyable and illuminating one.
