Our Client Section is vital to the success of your project, as it enables you to:
To log in, go to http://imagex.clientsection.com or click on the link in your email. When logging in to the Client Section for the first time, you’ll be asked for your name and password. (We will send this to you in an email at the start of the project) Be sure to check the ‘remember me’ box.

The overview page is meant to give a snapshot of all the recent or upcoming activity or deadlines for the project. It’s your quick access to the latest file uploads, tasks assigned or messages sent.

Figure 14: Overview Tab
The message board is where we write all our emails to you during the period of time that we are working on your project. We chose to use this system as it takes the same amount of time to respond to a client section message as it does to reply to a regular email in your inbox, yet it allows you to have all your project emails stored in one place. This saves valuable time when searching for project information in the future.
To reply to a message that your receive from us in your email inbox, you can hit Reply, and then type your response above the “—- Reply ABOVE THIS LINE to post a comment to the project —-. If you want to see the whole thread or need to upload an attachment in your reply, you can click on the link under this sentence: “Read the original message, view this comment, and download attachments at:”. Once you click on the link in your email, your Internet browser will open up and you’ll see a box just below the text of the last message that you received. Please enter your reply in there, and then hit post this comment and an email will be sent to anyone who’s been assigned to that message.

If you would like to send a message on a different subject matter, click on the messages tab and then on the ‘Post a new message’ link in the right hand sidebar. Then title your message, write your content, and choose which team members you’d like to send your message to.

If you have any files that you’d like to upload with the message, then just click on the blue ‘Attach files to this message…’ link and then browse your computer and select the files with the dialogue box that opens. To send the message, just click on the ‘Post this message’ button and an email will be sent to the people that you checked off.
Our Design process generally has seven phases and once you click on the ‘To Do’ tab you’ll notice that all the phases should be uploaded already and you will be responsible for tasks at most of the phases.
Once you complete a task, just check off the box to the left of the item. This will keep a record of the completed task, and bring your next step to the top of the list.

The files tab is where you can few all the uploaded files on a project. You can also upload other files here too, like logos, photographs, etc.
To send a file, just click on the ‘Upload a file’ button in the right hand sidebar and then browse your computer and select the files with the dialogue box that opens. Before you press send, please ensure to check off the person that you’d like to receive an email about the file so that we will be aware that you’ve uploaded the file.

And that’s a brief overview of our Client Section. Please save the project URL (http://imagex.clientsection.com) to your favorites menu on your Internet browser for quick access to project information in the future.
Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions about accessing your project or how to use our Client Section.
To upload an individual file:

NOTE: The other option for uploading files is to click on the “Attach files to this message” link that you’ll see just below the box you type in when responding to a Client Section message.
To upload multiple files you should add them to a folder and then zip them before you upload them to the Client Section. Zipping a file creates a compressed version of the file that is considerably smaller than the original. Also, by zipping a folder of files, you can upload or download them all at once to our client section, which saves time. Here’s how to do this:
On PCs:
There are more instructions on zip files on the Microsoft office website.
NOTE: If your computer doesn’t have a program to compress files, “Winzip”: is a popular one that you can download a trial version of.
On Macs:
If your zipped folder is larger than 10 MB, then they won’t upload to the client section. In this case you could divide your files into folders that are smaller than 10 MB or your could use an online ftp program.
The easiest option for this would be to go to “Yousendit.com” (http://www.yousendit.com):
