Lifetime Moms is a social blogging network from the Lifetime branch of A&E Television Networks. The site has a wealth of information written by moms for moms, and Lifetime wanted to focus on presenting it in a dynamic and easy to digest format for its visitors.

For the redesign of the site, ImageX worked with Lifetime to build improved information architecture, streamline the administrative process for content creation and management, and improve the site’s social integration. Behind the scenes the site features a complicated string of relationships and taxonomies to organize and link all of the content together intelligently, but visitors of the site are presented with a clean, smart design that dynamically presents them with content tailored to their category of choice.

In addition to building the new information architecture for Lifetime Moms, ImageX also built a system to automatically generate SEO-friendly URLs that were in line with A&E’s overall SEO strategy and turn the site’s design into a Drupal theme using the full 960 Grid System. The result is a revamped site that makes it easy for moms find great content that is tailored to exactly what they are looking for.
