The John Dau Foundation is an Upstate New York-based non-profit organization that is fulfilling the dream of Lost Boy and genocide survivor John Dau to provide healthcare in the war-torn region of South Sudan. The Foundation is building and sustaining medical clinics and training community health workers.
The goal of the Foundation’s new website was to engage and educate site visitors and to allow easier and rapid content updating through a CMS. To do this, they had to move away from the confusing navigation and boxy style of their old site and embrace a design that was clean, professional and provided the users with both information and motivation. ImageX was proud to help the John Dau Foundation achieve this goal with a completely re-designed and re-built Drupal website that is appealing and bright and includes such features as a rotating banner, social media links, a photo gallery and a news/archive system.
