WUSC is a group of professionals, students, volunteers, faculty, and community leaders working together to find solutions and provide opportunities to the world’s most marginalized people. They believe that all people are entitled to the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to a more equitable world and their mission is to foster human development and global understanding through education and training.
ImageX Media was brought on by WUSC to assist with the strategy, design consulting, information architecture and custom development of their site. The main challenge of the re-design was ensuring that visitors were exposed to as much relevant content and data while on the site. The old website focused on the organization rather than on content and as a result site searches were very difficult. The focus and emphasis of the new site is now about how content is consumed. The site reflects and engages key audiences and ensures that they are able to find and are exposed to exactly what it is they are looking for while they are online. The new WUSC site is a fully bi-lingual site with an English to French translation option. We eliminated their out-dated page-based updating and provided them with a solid, robust, easy-to-use infrastructure for the future.
