Overview
Teach For All is a global nonprofit community that envision a world where all children have the education, support, and opportunity to shape a better future. Their global network spans six continents, with independent partner organizations in 62 countries.
To meet the needs of their diverse network they required multiple sites to use a shared backend framework that would allow them to scale up as needed. The project included a website migration from Drupal 7.
What They Needed
ImageX was approached to help the Teach For All team meet their needs of evaluating their intended audience and message focusing, then creating a design and build for their main site that their other sites could also use.
The pre-existing Teach For All website was created in 2017 and required an overhaul, branching into two separate sites while adding a third new site to the list of properties.
We worked with their team to develop and design the three websites using a shared backend framework. This approach required a complete redesign and redevelopment, alongside a migration from Drupal 7.
How We Helped
A main challenge faced by the Teach For All team was the slow speed and page loading time of their old site, especially on pages with curated data, such as from views or paragraphs. The team wanted to create a visually appealing site, that is fast-loading, easy to navigate, and intuitive, as well as an informative experience that conveys their work and goals clearly and concisely.
Through a phased approach our team redesigned the website to improve user experience, evaluated its intended audience and message focus, and completely redeveloped the site from Drupal 7. We ensured that the design and development were accessible to all geographical locations, and both elements integrated necessary requirements to be ADA-compliant. For the additional sites that were built on the same code base, we provided additional design, development, and UX support.

The Results
The project launched on time with three customizable sites based on a single code base with scalability.
The client's goal was achieved with creation of sites that are an informative experience which convey the work and goals of Teach For All in a clear and concise manner, whilst being visually appealing and user intuitive, with improved page loading.
We continue to partner with Teach For All to provide regular support and maintenance.
