YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles Case Study
Overview
The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles runs a multitude of community service programs and has 26 branches with 70,000 members. ImageX went through each page of the client’s Drupal site to assess the UX and then rebuilt the platform from scratch to improve the navigation experience.
What They Needed
The client was looking to rebuild their website to make it easier to navigate. They had a Drupal-based platform shared between all other YMCA branches in the U.S. but had difficulties in pulling data from their previous site due to limited data tracking.
How We Helped
ImageX had also worked with the client in the past and helped maintain their site. We have a partnership with the Y of the USA and several other branches have worked with us as well. We were chosen because of our solid experience with Drupal and experience working with a number of different companies who were similar in size to them with projects that were similar in scope.
We had very honest and straightforward conversations in which the client was able to lean on us for support and new solutions. We used Basecamp as our project management tool, exchanged emails and had weekly phone calls to answer any client questions, ensuring we were transparent and honest.
ImageX completely rebuilt the client’s site from top to bottom. Starting with a complete evaluation of their site, we went through the site page by page and analyzed the UX. From there, we outlined what their challenges were and established new goals.
