Celebrating ImageX's Web Excellence Awards
We are pleased to announce that our Ashland University project was selected as a 2023 Web Excellence Award winner!
The Web Excellence Awards are a worldwide competition that promotes excellence on the web by honouring websites, web marketing projects, videos, mobile sites/apps, and social media campaigns of the highest standard. They strive to be one of the most distinguished web competitions available to any digital agency, designer, creator, freelance, or entrepreneur who wishes to showcase their work.
With over 1350 participants from 29 countries, our agency ranked among the best in their Web category. In order to select the winners, a panel of highly-qualified professionals with expertise in web science, marketing, and design meticulously judge all submissions for the Web Excellence Awards.
This award recognizes our project for Ashland University, which stands out for its user-centered design, accessibility, and visual design. Ashland University needed a website that reflected the student experience. The approach was to design for the senses with sounds and textures, for a modern and conversion-oriented user experience.
Our team’s design leaned fully into this theme, ensuring clarity of message and helping the end users to truly see themselves living, and thriving, at the institution. ImageX was able to successfully tie every element of Ashland’s new experience to its overall business objectives.
In terms of quantifiable results, when comparing the post-launch period to the previous year for web analytics:
- Organic search traffic increased by 230%
- Referral traffic increased by 282%
- Average engagement time per session increased by 8%
- Number of engaged sessions per user increased by 16%
