The Gold Goes To...

ImageX is pleased to share that the new Technical Safety BC website (launched last December) has won GOLD in the 2018 dotCOMM Awards; an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. Technical Safety BC is an independent, self-funded organization headquartered in Richmond, BC, who oversees the safe installation and operation of technical systems and equipment across British Columbia. While going through major rebranding initiative ImageX was selected as their web agency partner, tasked with redesigning the site and migrating it from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. The ImageX team was beyond excited to have been given the opportunity to design and develop their new digital experience. dotCOMM Awards offers third-party recognition from one of the most-recognized and highly-regarded evaluators of creative work in the world. Winning a dotCOMM award signifies that the winning digital experience is among the best in the industry. Having worked so closely with the Technical Safety BC team to design, and develop this award winning digital experience gives the ImageX team great pride. Technical Safety BC’s website is user friendly, uses modern open source technology — Drupal 8 — and includes significant security measures. The design was created with user experience in mind and incorporates an ‘outside-in’ approach. This project was delivered in less than nine months — design, build, and launch — and came in under budget!

Evidence of Improvement

• Website traffic (pageviews) is up by 55% in Q2 2018 compared to the same period last year; and,
