The digital landscape is shifting fast. As AI transforms content creation and search strategies, how do we ensure our work remains both discoverable and deeply human?

This session equips marketers, content strategists, and UX professionals with the tools and insights needed to thrive in an AI-driven era. We’ll explore the evolution from traditional, keyword-focused SEO to AI-powered discoverability—where algorithms prioritize context, intent, and quality engagement.

Search has always been a cornerstone of great digital experiences, but traditional keyword-based search often fails to understand intent. At ImageX, we set out to solve this challenge by building a semantic search solution powered by Drupal AI.

This session will share our journey of integrating AI-driven semantic search into Drupal, including the architectural decisions, Drupal modules and APIs leveraged, and the pitfalls we faced along the way. Attendees will gain insight into how AI-powered search differs from traditional approaches, why it matters for content-heavy sites, and how they can begin experimenting with Drupal AI in their own projects.

Our goal is to provide the Drupal community with practical, real-world lessons that aren’t readily available in online documentation—covering both the technical implementation and the organizational change required to support AI-driven search.

Tuesday 24th - The main event

Higher education is facing a critical challenge: shifting demographics, increasing competition, and evolving student expectations are making enrolment growth harder than ever.

In this session, we’ll explore how Drupal can be a powerful driver of enrolment success by enabling personalization, accessibility, streamlined user journeys, and data-driven decision-making. Drawing on insights from more than 500 digital projects with colleges and universities across North America, we’ll showcase proven strategies, real-world examples, and actionable takeaways that your institution can apply immediately.

Whether you’re focused on attracting first-generation students, improving graduate program visibility, or re-engaging adult learners, this session will highlight how Drupal’s flexibility and scalability can help you meet the moment and deliver measurable enrolment results.

The YMCA’s mission is rooted in community impact—and in today’s world, that includes a strong, unified digital presence. Enter Open Y, an open-source, Drupal-based platform built specifically for YMCAs to streamline content management, marketing, and integrations.

In this session, we’ll dive into how Open Y empowers local YMCAs to deliver scalable, accessible, and user-friendly websites while reducing development overhead through shared community resources. Whether you're a developer, site builder, digital marketer, or decision-maker, you'll come away with:

- An overview of the Open Y distribution and how it builds on Drupal 10
- A look at how the YMCA network collaborates to enhance the platform
- Real-world examples of YMCAs using Open Y to increase engagement and reduce tech debt
- A roadmap for getting started with Open Y (whether you're upgrading or launching a new site)

We’ll also cover key modules and architecture choices in Open Y, and show how you can contribute or customize it to fit your organization’s unique needs.

Organizations often struggle with fragmented content, inconsistent messaging, and editorial bottlenecks—especially as websites grow and multiple teams contribute to the same platform. In this session, we’ll explore how to design and implement a sustainable content governance model in Drupal that keeps your content organized, high-quality, and future-proof.

Attendees will learn practical workflows for content authors, editors, and administrators, including strategies for approval processes, content audits, and lifecycle management. The session also covers frameworks for defining roles, responsibilities, and standards that scale across teams and departments. Real-world examples from Drupal sites of varying sizes will illustrate how structured governance not only improves content quality but also enhances collaboration, reduces technical debt, and supports long-term digital strategy goals.

By the end of the session, you’ll have actionable insights to create a governance model that transforms chaotic content operations into a streamlined, sustainable system.
