Why ImageX contributes to Drupal
One of the best things about Drupal is its worldwide community of users, with over 1,000,000 expert developers, designers, trainers, strategists, coordinators, editors, and sponsors. Within this community is a core group of 1,500+ members, who actively contribute by sharing knowledge and providing support through forums, documentation, and user groups.
Having access to this open source community means you can tap into a vast pool of expertise, best practices, and innovative ideas at all times.
At ImageX, we proudly contribute to Drupal to help enhance the platform's functionality. Contributing to Drupal helps make the platform more useful, benefiting both existing clients and enticing organizations to adopt the CMS for their needs.
Giving back through contribution also aligns with three of our core values; Quality Obsession, Effective Communication, and Succeeding Together. Our team at ImageX finds fulfillment in actively contributing through code and non-code to Drupal and it contribution has become an intrinsic part of our culture.
We were excited to be able to contribute to the inaugural Pitch-burgh event, where financial support was awarded to a number of initiatives, voted on by the community at DrupalCon Pittsburgh, 2023.
Contributing back to Drupal is baked into our culture. The more that we put into the product the more we get out of it. From fixing small bugs that help the entire community, to building innovative modules that can help new projects down the line.

Sponsoring team contributions to Drupal
Between client projects and internal continuous improvement initiatives, there is often limited time to put toward contributions.
ImageX have an internal program that encourages every employee to contribute back to the community, whether that is fixing a patch, helping organize an event, attending a code sprint, building new Drupal modules, participating in Promote Drupal committees, or sharing their Drupal expertise through speaking at DrupalCon, Drupal Camps, and other conferences.
We also set aside time for education, research, and innovation, along with offering an Education Fund along with Education Time Off which allows individuals to contribute to the community in additional ways.
